Nvidia GeForce Now RTX 3080 tier adds 120fps streaming to Pixel 6 Pro

Pixel 6 Pro owners can now enjoy 120fps streaming with the RTX 3080 tier for Nvidia GeForce.

Nvidia introduced a new GeForce Now plan a few months ago that gives users access to the power of an RTX 3080, with 1440p and 120fps streaming support for PC, Mac, and supported Android devices. Initially, only a few Samsung models were compatible, but now Pixel 6 Pro owners can play AAA games at 120fps and 1080p resolution.

The updated support page from Nvidia lists all the phones that support 120fps streaming.

To enable 120fps streaming on the Pixel 6 Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Subscribe to the RTX 3080 tier on GeForce Now
  2. Access Settings
  3. Click on GeForce Now
  4. Choose Stream quality
  5. Select Frame Rate
  6. Adjust settings to 120fps

Ensure that your Pixel 6 Pro is set to its best refresh rate of 120Hz for a smoother gaming experience by going to Settings, selecting Display, and choosing Smooth Display.

To access the benefits of this GeForce Now tier, the subscription fee is £89.99/$99.99 every six months.
