Xiaomi’s India branch has dropped a hint regarding the international release of the Xiaomi 14 series. This could lead to the China-exclusive series making its way to global markets.
The Xiaomi 14 series, comprising the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, looks set to reach a wider audience. Although not explicitly named in the teaser, the reference to Xiaomi’s collaboration with camera giant Leica strongly indicates the 14 lineup. Both phones in the series feature Leica lenses.
It is speculated that Xiaomi may unveil the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro on the global stage later this month at MWC, considering the 13 series’ global launch at last year’s event. There are also expectations for the introduction of the yet-to-be-announced Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is anticipated to include a primary camera with a wider variable aperture.
Equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro boast similar hardware, differing mainly in their display and battery aspects. Additionally, the Pro model is equipped with a 50MP camera featuring a variable aperture.
