Amazon Germany has finally announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy A25. This budget-friendly 5G phone is suitable for fans due to features such as a microSD slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with stereo speakers. The phone comes with a 6.5” 120Hz FHD+ AMOLED display, a plastic frame and back, and a glass front, but it does not have dust or water resistance.
The phone is powered by last year’s Exynos 1280 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. On the rear, there is a 50MP main camera with OIS and 4K video capabilities and an 8MP ultra wide (120°) camera. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera.
Another option is the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which is more expensive but offers additional features. It comes with a 6.4” 120Hz FHD+ display and has an IP68 rating, with an aluminum and glass (GG5) build. It runs on the Exynos 2200 chipset in Europe and has a smaller 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. In addition, the phone features a 50MP main camera with a larger sensor and OIS, a 12MP ultra wide (123°) camera, and an 8MP 3x tele module. The S-phone supports DeX and video out over USB-C.
There are also a variety of Samsung Galaxy tablets available. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE offers a 10.9” 90Hz IPS LCD (2,304 x 1,440px) display and a newer Exynos 1380 chipset. Unlike the Tab S7 FE, this model has dust and water resistance (IP68), a microSD slot, stereo speakers by AKG, and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging. The USB port also supports DeX.
An upgrade from that is the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, which features a 12.4” 90Hz IPS LCD (2,560 x 1,600px) display and a 10,090mAh battery. It is mostly the same as the previous model, but the plus model comes with more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ is of similar size to the Tab S9 FE+ but is slimmer and lighter. It features a 12.4” AMOLED display with a higher 120Hz refresh rate and slightly higher pixel density. It is equipped with a flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with 12GB of RAM as standard, and a 10,090mAh, 45W charging battery.
For those interested in a larger device, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is equipped with a 14.6” AMOLED display (120Hz, 2,960 x 1,848px) and an 11,200mAh battery with 45W charging. It also has an IP68 rating and an aluminum frame and back, similar to its S9 siblings.
Furthermore, the smaller Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 offers an 11” display, comparable in size to the Tab S9 but thinner and lighter. It has a 120Hz AMOLED display and features the faster SD 8 Gen 2 chip. The battery is slightly larger at 8,400mAh and charges at 45W.
For those looking for an 11” 90Hz LCD at a lower price, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is available at half the cost. However, it features a lower quality LCD, lacks dust and water resistance, stylus and DeX support, and carries the slower Snapdragon 695 chipset. The tablet comes with less built-in storage, 4GB of RAM, a smaller 7,040mAh battery, and 15W charging.
Lastly, there’s the revamped PlayStation 5 Slim, now priced below €500. The console includes a built-in optical disc, though it also supports external drives for the digital version.
