At the top of Mt. Sopris overlook, I sat down to enjoy the view. I unpacked my Ganesha stove, ready to test it by starting a fire without breaking any laws due to the absence of a burn ban.
The Ganesha stove has an impressive design, folding flat for easy packing and unfolding like a pop-up book. After testing it on various camping trips, I found it to be efficient, smokeless, and convenient for cooking.
Adding medium and small twigs, I quickly boiled water in the Ganesha stove, dropped in a teabag, and relaxed while the fire burned out.
In summary: The Ganesha wood-burning stove is a lightweight, foldable, and effective option for outdoor cooking. It stands out for its efficient, smokeless operation and ease of transport and storage. Despite not being the fastest or most compact, its use of natural fuel gives it an edge over similar titanium stoves. While it won’t be available until June 1, 2024, preorders are open for those interested.
