Impressions of Use
When it comes to the K55 CORE, how does it feel? Non-mechanical keyboards vary in their feel. Some are almost like mechanical switches, while others are soft and unpleasant. So, where does the K55 CORE stand in the opinion of this reviewer?
It’s alright. Not soft, surprisingly crisp. There’s a hint of tactile feedback as the keys move through their structures, but they don’t feel like mechanical switches – they have that rubbery feel. The keys feel quite light, as they don’t require much pressure to actuate and the travel distance is not deep. The sound is not silent but definitely quieter than any mechanical keyboard I’ve used.
In short, it feels like a solid rubber-dome keyboard, and the light and shallow keypresses allow for fast typing.
