The service is offered at no additional cost to Apple Music subscribers but requires a standalone app. It boasts a collection of over 5 million classical tracks in Hi-Res lossless audio.
The Classical app features exclusive content and an improved interface that displays details such as the work’s title, orchestra, conductor, contributing artists, and the year of recording. It also offers unique artwork for certain pieces, 700 curated playlists from Apple Music’s editors, and a Browse tab that differs from the regular Apple Music app.
