The Apple Music Classical app has been introduced in six Asian markets – Japan, China, Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan earlier this month. Initially, it encouraged users to “pre-order” and now, after two weeks of the initial launch, the service is finally available.

The service is now accessible to all Apple Music subscribers for free and also as a standalone app. It offers over 5 million classical tracks in Hi-Res lossless audio, and users can subscribe through their Apple account.
The Classical streaming service features content exclusive to its app and a different interface providing information on the work name, orchestra, conductor, contributing artists, and year of recording. The Browse tab is also uniquely designed compared to the regular Apple Music app to cater to the specific demands of classical music enthusiasts.
