Amazon has reduced the prices of the iPhone and iPhone Plus models from the last three generations by £100, including the latest 15 series. Let’s explore the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus first, as they have undergone significant upgrades compared to their predecessors.
The iPhone 15 series features a Dynamic Island (Apple’s term for a pill-shaped punch hole) but still lacks a dynamic refresh rate. Additionally, the rear main camera boasts a 48MP sensor with effective 2x in-sensor zoom. Notably, this generation is the first to adopt USB-C.
Conversely, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus retain the notch, feature 12MP main cameras, and still use Lightning adapters. Moreover, their chipsets are a year older. Nevertheless, both devices are £100 cheaper than their 15-series counterparts, which is equivalent to the cost of a storage upgrade (128GB to 256GB).
The 13-series did not include a plus variant, and the available 13 mini units were all refurbished. However, new iPhone 13 models are still obtainable, priced £100 lower than the iPhone 14, an amount that can be allocated towards additional storage if you are content with a device sporting a notch, 12MP camera, and a Lightning adapter.
