The Huawei Band 8 was unveiled nearly a year ago (in early April 2023) with a significantly lighter body and the same 1.47” OLED display. Now, the upcoming Band 9 is making its way along with a new companion.
Huawei has shared a teaser clip on Twitter providing sneak peeks of the new smartband. Combining these glimpses, we get a comprehensive preview of the Huawei Band 9:
The design remains familiar, with a rounded rectangle housing the display featuring 2.5D glass and a side button. Huawei is promising that the new model will introduce “a new era in wrist fashion and enhanced sleep features.”
Referencing the second device, we have the long-anticipated sequel to the Huawei FreeLace Pro headphones, which were initially released in August 2020 as neckband-style headphones. The FreeLace Pro 2 from Huawei is finally making its debut, as indicated in another teaser clip.
Once again, we have crafted a composite image for easier viewing:
For a review of the original FreeLace Pro, it was rated IP55, provided a 24-hour battery life, and featured Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) at a price of €120. The new model holds the promise of a “world of convenience” and the preparation for an immersive experience.
Both the Band 9 and FreeLace Pro 2 are labeled as #ComingSoon, with no specifics provided in the posts.
