Infinix is gearing up to introduce its affordable smartphone, the Hot 40i, in India on February 16. The device will be retailed via Flipkart, and an official ‘coming soon’ landing page has already been established for the phone.
The Hot 40i boasts a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1612 x 720 and a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. It is powered by the Unisoc T606 processor, featuring an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The device offers up to 256GB of onboard storage, with the option to expand it by an additional 2TB using a microSD card.
While Infinix claims that the device has 16GB of memory, it’s important to note that only 8GB of this is physical system memory, with the remaining 8GB being virtual memory allocated on the storage.
Notable features include a 50MP main camera at the rear, a 32MP selfie camera, a 5000mAh battery, and 18W fast charging support.
The phone is anticipated to be priced under INR 9000 when it becomes available for purchase later this month.
