Performance Testing
Assessing the performance of memory involves conducting benchmarking tests to understand its capabilities. In this review, we will be utilizing an Intel platform to carry out the testing of this specific kit. This choice is informed by the fact that achieving speeds above 6000 MT/s on AMD does not offer significant advantages in various applications. In contrast, the potential for performance gains on an Intel platform seems limitless.
The specifications of the test system are displayed in the charts. It is important to note that our Intel Core i7-14700K was deliberately constrained to the officially specified 253W Turbo and ICCMax 307A limits, as we did not use the default 4095W motherboard settings. Moreover, the GPU employed in the testing was an NVIDIA GeForce RT4090 FE card.
To illustrate the potential memory scaling, we conducted a synthetic memory benchmark.
