A while ago, it was announced that Google Workspace was getting Gemini. Now, Duet AI for Google Workspace is now called Gemini for Google Workspace. This gives customers access to powerful AI models. Gemini will be integrated into the Workspace apps that millions of customers use daily.
Gemini for Workspace is designed for consumers, teams, and organizations of all sizes. It can assist with tasks such as party planning, drafting a marketing campaign, or creating a business plan for a new venture. Additionally, Gemini for Workspace will include a new standalone chat experience with enterprise-grade data protection.

Millions of small businesses use Workspace to connect, create, and collaborate. They recognize the value that AI can bring to their business. In fact, a recent survey found that 88% of small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers are interested in using generative AI technologies for data analysis, task management, email drafting, customer support, and more.
To meet this demand, Gemini Business is being launched. This plan provides access to Gemini for Workspace at a lower price, including features like Help me write in Docs, Gmail, Enhanced Smart Fill in Sheets, and image generation in Slides. It is available for as low as $20 per user per month with an annual commitment.
Customers can also opt for Gemini Enterprise, replacing Duet AI for Workspace Enterprise. Priced at $30 per user per month with an annual commitment, Gemini Enterprise offers the same features as Gemini Business with more usage. It also includes additional capabilities for AI-powered meetings, where Gemini can translate closed captions in more than 100 language pairs and even take meeting notes in the future. Existing Duet AI for Workspace customers will be automatically upgraded to Gemini Enterprise from today.
Communicate with Gemini through a new standalone experience
A new, enterprise-grade standalone experience to chat with Gemini is now being rolled out. This experience uses 1.0 Ultra and will be available for Gemini Business and Gemini Enterprise customers at gemini.google.com.
