The new Oukitel WP33 Pro embraces a considerable departure from the trend of slim and lightweight smartphones. It flaunts an extraordinary 22,000 mAh battery, touted as the largest ever seen in a phone. Weighing in at 577.5g and measuring 27.2mm in thickness, this handset is one you won’t easily forget you have in your pocket! The Oukitel WP33 Pro also boasts an extensive width of 84mm, making it practically impossible to manage single-handedly, even for NBA players. However, its height of 175.4mm falls within the standard range.
Under the hood, it is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 6100+ chipset, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The device features a 6.6-inch 1,080×2,408 IPS panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 450-nit brightness, topped with Gorilla Glass 5.
On the rear, the main camera hosts a 64 MP Sony IMX686 1/1.73″ sensor with f/1.89 aperture and an LED flash. According to Oukitel’s own measurements, an iPhone 15’s speakers peak at 98dB, an alarm siren is at about 109dB, an outdoor speaker generally reaches up to 116dB, and a jet engine produces 120dB. The WP33 Pro’s speaker surpasses all of these, with “8D Immersive Stereo Surround” sound to boot.
The WP33 Pro supports 33W wired charging, taking 5 hours to fully charge, and 18W reverse wired charging to replenish other devices from its colossal battery. Additionally, the phone has IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, IP69K certification to withstand high-pressure water jets, and MIL-STD-810H certification to endure a 1.5m drop. A fingerprint sensor is located on the side. It runs Android 13 with limited future updates expected.
