Samsung kicked off 2024 with the introduction of its new entry-level Galaxy A phones – the Galaxy A25, A15 5G, and A15 (4G). The results of last week’s poll have already revealed which model is likely to be the most sought after.
The Samsung Galaxy A25 emerged as the clear winner – for users in the market for an entry-level phone, this model is usually a top consideration. However, a significant number of people believe that it is overpriced, so a price reduction could significantly boost the A25’s appeal.
This outcome can be seen as more of a setback for the Galaxy A15 5G rather than a victory for the A25. The problem isn’t that the A15 5G is expensive, but rather that the evidently superior A25 costs only a slightly higher amount. If both models are available in a given market and maintain their relative pricing, the A15 5G is unlikely to gain much traction.
The Galaxy A15 holds potential as the most budget-friendly option. Many users are indifferent to the absence of 5G connectivity and are content with opting for the slightly cheaper A15 over the nearly identical A15 5G.
Following the debut of the A05 and A05s, the Galaxy A35 and A55 phones are expected to follow shortly. The A25, particularly, and to some extent the A15, offer a desirable middle ground between these two groups.
