Introduction and overview
The release of the Tecno Pova 5 Pro just six months ago suggested that the Tecno Pova 6 Pro would likely be a slight update to its predecessor. However, the Pova 6 Pro offers much more than anticipated.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro introduces several significant enhancements in various areas such as display, battery, charging, memory, and cameras. Interestingly, despite these upgrades, its price remains relatively consistent when considering the doubled storage capacity compared to its predecessor, offering 256GB by default as opposed to the Pova 5 Pro’s 128GB base model.

For a similar price point, the Pova 6 Pro advances with a switch to a 120Hz OLED panel from the previous IPS LCD, upgrades to a 108MP main camera, increases battery capacity from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh, and slightly faster charging speeds with added support for reverse wired charging.
The retention of the Dimensity 6080 processor from the prior model is a positive aspect as the Pova 5 Pro already performed well in various tests, ranking favorably among its competitors in the same price range.
Moreover, the Pova 6 Pro is now IP53 rated for dust and splash protection and debuts a fresh design while maintaining a consistent design language with the inclusion of LED strips on the back.
