More free Spider-Man suits are on the horizon for the Remastered game on PS5.
Insomniac Games has disclosed that Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will soon receive two new suits inspired by the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home, debuting on December 10.
These two suits will be accessible at no cost to current remaster owners, available exclusively through the Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.
View the trailer above to catch a glimpse of the two new suits. However, it is worth noting that this update only pertains to the PS5 version of the game, leaving PS4 players unable to partake in this free offer.
Despite missing out on the new movie-inspired suits, players can find comfort in the knowledge that Insomniac is actively developing additional Spider-Man content.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, and will also introduce Venom to the Marvel games universe. Another superhero-focused game in progress is Marvel’s Wolverine, a darker story centered around a Canadian with adamantium claws.
Little is known about either game at this time, except that the second Spider-Man installment is set for release in 2033, while Wolverine’s launch date is pending.
It’s commendable to see the team incorporating DLC like this while concurrently working on other projects, although it’s unfortunate that the PS4 version will be missing out.
