Samsung Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35
The new Samsung Galaxy A55 has made significant improvements. It features a larger 6.6” display with Gorilla Glass Victus+. The plastic frame and back of the A54 are upgraded to aluminum and Gorilla Glass.

The phone is powered by the Exynos 1480, offering efficient performance. Additionally, it boasts the first AMD GPU in a mid-range device.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A35 brings minor upgrades. The screen now has new glass, and the 13MP selfie camera is in a punch hole instead of a notch. The 50MP camera is an improvement over the previous 48MP version, but the frame and back remain plastic.
Cameras: Galaxy A55 • Galaxy A35
The major change in the A35 is the Exynos 1380 chipset, a slight upgrade over the previous model. Both phones run on Android 14 and offer 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
While the A55 will not be available in the US or Canada, the A35 will be the only option in those regions. Mexico will be the sole North American country receiving the A55.
Notably, the A55 comes with a 12GB RAM option in certain regions, while many flagships including the Galaxy S23 and S24 series have only 8GB of RAM. The A35 may also have 6GB of RAM in some regions.
