It can be a real struggle to find women’s hunting pants that fit well and perform effectively. With slight changes in weight, many women find themselves searching for new pairs that fit differently. This led me on a hunt for the perfect pants.
Introducing the DSG Bexley 3.0 Ripstop Tech Pants: These pants are the most comfortable pair I own (besides sweatpants). Despite enduring scouting, hunting, and trekking through challenging terrain, they survived archery season with minimal damage. Other than some minor concerns about pocket layout and camo patterns, these pants are truly exceptional.
In summary: For women in search of warm-weather pants that are wallet-friendly, the DSG Bexley 3.0 provides exceptional comfort for hot conditions, versatile sizing, and impressive durability. If you can overlook limited pocket space and a lack of solid color options, these pants are a must-have.

A Dive into DSG Bexley 3.0 Ripstop Tech Pants Review

DSG: A Brand Overview
In 2010, Wendy Gavinsky founded DSG (Doing Something Great) due to the lack of women’s snowmobile and ski apparel. After seven years, DSG introduced its first line of women’s hunting clothing. The goal of DSG is to create highly functional yet feminine women’s garments, ranging from base layers to extreme-weather outerwear available in various sizes.
Bexley 3.0 Overview
The Bexley 3.0 is designed as an early-season, warm-weather pant to offer utmost comfort and breathability during hot field days. Made from ultra-light ripstop fabric with a water-repellent finish, these pants are available in sizes XXS to 5XL and come with an adjustable inseam. The five camouflage patterns cater to a wide array of field and forest environments.
Field Testing
Let me share a story of low expectations. When I started elk scouting last year, I thought I had my backcountry clothing covered. Between various life changes, I unintentionally lost about 10 pounds. Venturing to find suitable pants, I landed on the DSG Bexley 3.0 pants – the only pair in the store that fit well and suited warm hunts for $90. To my surprise, they exceeded my expectations in durability despite their lightweight build.
The areas I scouted were rugged due to a past windstorm, filled with downed trees and dense foliage. The pants endured the challenging terrain better than expected despite not being designed for such conditions. They sustained minimal damage compared to what I endured.
Fabric Quality
Initially looking for lightweight pants with thigh zippers, I found the breathability of the Bexley 3.0 fabric negated the need for extra ventilation. These pants proved to be comfortable even on hot days, offering excellent breathability. While I didn’t test the water resistance, the pants performed well under various conditions.
Despite wearing the pants in rough environments, they maintained
