Many Android smartphones, especially high-end models from major brands like Google and Samsung, use USB-C ports for charging. While some companies have their own quick-charging standards, such as the fading Qualcomm Quick Charge standard, our tests show that most Android phones can be fast-charged using a reliable USB-C Power Delivery charger. For instance, when we tested charging on the Samsung Galaxy S10+, we found similar battery gains regardless of whether we used the included charger, Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0 chargers, or an 18 W USB-C charger: All of them resulted in approximately 41% charge in half an hour and 80% in an hour.
