Two of the most beloved Uncharted games are set to receive a remaster for the PS5 and PC, with the release date finally confirmed along with several other exciting details.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will release for both the PS5 and PC, containing the single-player stories from both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
The remaster will prioritize graphics, offering players the option to choose between Fidelity Mode, Performance Mode, and Performance+ Mode.
You can view the new trailer below.
Fidelity Mode is designed for those with a 4K display who want to experience Uncharted at 30fps in 4K resolution. Performance Mode retains the high framerate from the PS4 patch and now targets 60 frames per second.
Finally, Performance+ Mode aims to deliver the smoothest gameplay possible by targeting 120fps at a 1080p resolution. It’s worth noting that a compatible 120Hz display is required for this mode.
The remaster will also utilize exclusive PS5 features. The DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers will provide rumble and resistance when driving vehicles or engaging in combat.
Uncharted 4 follows the story of a weary Nathan Drake returning to his old ways, while The Lost Legacy tells the compelling story of an antagonist turned ally, Chloe Frazer.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be available on PS5 from January 28 next year, both physically and digitally for $49.99. Pre-orders for the digital version are available here.
Naughty Dog has not yet announced the release date for the PC version, but stay tuned to Trusted Reviews for updates.
