Vibe, an adtech startup, aims to assist small businesses in leveraging the increasing ad presence on streaming apps and services by offering them access to ad inventory through a self-service platform similar to those used for Google and Meta ads.
The company recently secured a $22.5 million funding round led by Singular, a venture capital firm based in Paris, along with investments from Elaia, Motier Ventures, and various business angels.
While Meta and Google dominate online ad revenue, the realm of connected TVs and streaming services presents a growing market with untapped potential for adtech firms. Vibe has partnered with select companies to open up their ad inventory to Vibe’s clients, excluding major players like Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube TV.
There exists a variety of ad-supported streaming services beyond the big names, such as FAST services like Pluto, OTT platforms like Fubo, and broadcasters like Paramount and Warner Bros.
Vibe’s success in partnering with numerous partners is attributed to the expertise of its co-founder and CEO, Arthur Querou, a seasoned adtech professional with a track record that includes founding MotionLead and KMTX.
Vibe focuses on empowering small and medium businesses by enabling them to create ad campaigns directly on its platform, catering to industries like car dealerships, plumbers, and restaurants. The platform offers a user-friendly interface for selecting ad placement, target audience, uploading video assets, and monitoring campaign performance through a dedicated dashboard.
Over 2,000 businesses in the U.S. have utilized Vibe’s services, resulting in significant revenue growth for the company. With plans to expand its team and enhance targeting capabilities, Vibe aims to solidify its position in the adtech market.
Despite competition from tech giants like Google and Meta, Vibe remains optimistic about its niche in the industry, emphasizing the unique value it provides to small businesses seeking ad placement on streaming services.
