Following the global launch of Xiaomi’s 14 and 14 Ultra at MWC, the company has revealed a detailed roadmap for HyperOS updates. The new operating system, which is built on the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and Xiaomi’s Vela IoT platform, will first debut on the new Xiaomi 14 series, Pad 6S Pro, Watch S3, and Band 8 Pro.
In addition to the new devices, Xiaomi has also confirmed a list of older smartphones and tablets that are guaranteed to receive the HyperOS updates. The rollout schedule will vary depending on the device and region, with updates expected to begin in the first half of 2024. While specific dates are not yet available, more information is expected to be released in the coming months. It is anticipated that more Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices will be added to the supported list over time.
